Concert promoter Empire Entertainment is filing a lawsuit against the rapper, claiming that he did not perform the show they had paid him $22,500 to do.
On the same day as his Little Rock, Arkansas show a Tennessee nightclub began promoting a show, as well as Gucci Mane himself on his Twitter page. Gucci’s camp told Empire that no TN show was happening. Gucci proceeded to perform in Arkansas, but only stayed for about 15 minutes before hightailing it 138 miles to perform at the TN club. Gucci clearly thought he was too slick because after his TN performance, him and his team drove back to stay at the hotel that Empire provided them.
Empire Entertainment is suing for breach of contract and fraud. Asking for cash back, on his payout, hotel stay, travel and promotions.
This of course, isn’t the first time the rapper has had a run in with the law as he was incarcerated in March for assaulting a United States war veteran and then had to face claims by a Philadelphia fan, who says that the rapper assaulted him. Gucci pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault of the veteran and posted $75,000 bond.
