Jennifer Lopez has been updating us with glam and fashion among her Instagram page, but if you’re looking for a new album – perhaps another remix to a Latin hit may very well be a sign the album is nearing.
Recording artists Nio Garcia and Casper Magico spoke to Billboard on the making of the remix and the excitement behind J.Lo’s involvement in the song.
The record “Te Boté” already secured a remix from Cardi B’s peers Nicky Jam and Bad Bunny months back, but this second remix will not only feature Jennifer but fellow Puerto Rican musician Anuel AA, who had to record his verse immediately after a prison release, according to “Remezcla”.
Nio and Casper were so pleased with both J.Lo and Annuel appearing on the same track that they teased the release date being “30 years” from now. The pair did seriously add that the record would be released very soon.
As for details on J.Lo’s forthcoming album “Por Primera Vez” it remains unclear if Lopez will consider stapling her previous English-released promo numbers “I Ain’t Your Mama” and “Us”. Lopez did clarify however in earlier interviews that ex-husband Marc Anthony will be executive producing and the album will “likely lean” towards exclusive Spanish speaking only rather than Spanglish.
A date for the album still remains unknown; with five singles (“Dinero”, “Amor, Amor, Amor”, “El Anillo”, “Ni Tú Ni Yo”, “Chegaste”) still queued for placement on the project.
