Marc Anthony rocked the stage on Sunday night as part of NYCB LIVE’s (Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum) Grand Opening Celebration.
It was clear from the start that Marc came to entertain with an incredible instrument; his voice. The Grammy Award winner opened his set with Hector Lavoe’s iconic “Aguanile” that had the crowd singing-along in unison.
Anthony breezed through fan-favorite hits that included; “Contra La Corriente”, “Flor Palida” and more. He ended the show by dedicating “Vivir Mi Vida” to Venezuela, as the audience danced their troubles away.
After an 18-month, $130 million renovation, NYCB LIVE can rest assured that they are officially back with a bang, thanks to Mr. Anthony’s salsa christening.
