Today the peacock network released the first official cast photos of its upcoming ‘NBC’s The Wiz – LIVE’ musical special. The unveiling showcases the fresh talent, Shanice Williams as Dorothy, David Alan Grier as the Cowardly Lion, Elijah Kelley as the Scarecrow and NeYo as the TinMan — donning surpassingly high-fashion get-ups.
Also featured in the cast are Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Mary J Blige as Evillene, Uzo Aduba as Glinda, Amber Riley as Addaperle, Common as Bouncer, and Broadway’s original Dorothy, Stephanie Mills, as Auntie Em.
