After delivering her eighth child, and most recently premiering her latest music video, R&B Diva, Keke Wyatt, is back to do what she does best, SANG! For this #SoulfulSunday spotlight, we will feature the vocal assassin at one of her most recent performances. Taking the stage in St. Louis, at The Ambassador on August 2nd, Keke showed up and showed out, proving that she is vocally unmatched. The ‘Fall In love’ chanter switched up her usual set-list by premiering a new song ‘What I Gotta Do’ written for her husband, Michael Jamar, and executing some sickening vocal acrobats.
Whoever said that women lose a vocal octave after giving birth, was telling a lie. Keke apparently gains all of the lost octaves. We’ve always loved Wyatt’s rendition of Patti Labelle‘s, ‘If Only You Knew’, but on this night in particular, Keke took the song to a different level. We want to share the slayful moment with you. Make sure you have on your Sunday’s Best, because Keke is sure to take you to church.
