MTV 2014 VMA’S Nominees annouced, Queen Bey Leads the Pack

On the run? For Beyonce, its more like on the charts. According to the nominations for the 2014 MTV Video Music Award announced on Thursday, Queen Bee has stung her way up to an impressive eight nominations. Some of the catergories including, Best Female “Partition”, Best Choergraphy “Partition” and Video of the year “Drunk In Love.”
Mrs.Carter is not the only one having a great year when it comes to music success. Grand hustle’s top charter rapper Iggy Azalea follows behind Yonce with seven nods in categories including Video of the Year , Best Female and Best Pop for her hit single “Fancy”. Eminem also racks up with seven nominations in such categories as best hip-hop, best male and best collaboration.

Pharrell Williams has many more reason to be “happy,” amongst all the creative collaborations he’s done outside of music this year he still manages to keep the music critics happy, seeing how he received multiple nominations for “Happy” including video of the year. Whiz Khalifa, Katy Perry, Arianne Grande, Kanye West, Jason Derulo and Pitbull are also a few artist who received nominations nods this year.

The 2014 Video Music Award will be held live at The Forum in Inglewood, California, Sunday August 24. Grande, Usher and Azalea are a few rumored artist set to perform at the anticipated music event. Check out the entire nominee list below.
