This Sunday saw one of the most highly anticipated reunions take effect. When R&B singer Brandy Norwood reunites with the stage, there’s no expecting less than a flawless live performance, and a frequent holy ghost encounter.
Taking comfort in Baltimore, Brandy closed out the annual African American Festival delivering a praise worthy live set of some of her hit records including her 2012 hit single ‘Put It Down‘, and also paying homage to her idol Whitney Houston with her signature Houston medley. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the “Vocal Bible” take the stage to do what she does best, but it doesn’t mean that B.Rocka hasn’t been working. The R&B Diva is currently working on a new album and preparing for the new season of BET’s ‘The Game’.
Brandy shared the BMore venue with a plethora of other entertainers such as R&B singer Mario, R&B Diva’s Monifah, and the legendary Johnny Gill, but it was B.Rocka who was the center of attention. Rocking her signature 32 inch box braids, and accompanied by a live band and new set of dancers, the ‘Never Say Never’ angel proved exactly why she remains incomparable and often imitated in today’s musical market. Wait no more and dive into the set below.
