True Exclusives was lucky to have been invited to an exclusive showcase to capture the talent that reigns Havok Jones. The 4 young women, Kea Aleis, who are currently promoting their EP ‘Havok Jones…The Re-Dedication’. Music lovers and media gathered at ATL’s Suite Lounge tuesday June 3rd to witness “Havok’ deliver a live tribute to honor their way making idols.
In attendance stood Destiny Child‘s Latavia Roberson, and 702‘s leading lady, Meelah, who were also there to be honored and celebrated. Even R&B Diva co-star Angie Stone came out to support her fellow Divas.
As the feminine quartet took the stage, singing a medley of classic girl group hits such as ‘Say My Name’ and SWV‘s ‘Rain‘, it would be hard to say that the crowd didn’t take an unexpected trip down memory lane. Following the set, R&B Diva’s Meelah and Latavia spoke a few words to sanging ladies of the night, describing their experiences of when they once shared the stage with their fellow group mates. It’s safe to say that Havok Jones definitely put on a show, and put their hearts on the stage as they crooned through the medley of ‘oldies but goodies’.
