The quadruple force that is Havok Jones, uniquely comprised of Kea Aleis, MaiDai, Aire B. and Neiko, have just released their first single “Who Can I Run To,” a remake of the ‘90s super group Xscape’s chart-topping single, off their homage-based EP. Executive produced by super producer Miyk Snoddy, who has created for the likes of The Dream, Kelly Rowland, Trey Songz, and more has managed to fuse the sound of 90’s R&B with the modern day stylings of what this female force naturally has to offer.
The Atlanta based hummingbirds are gearing up for an exclusive showcase where they will be performing hits off of their EP in front of some of the divas that have paved the way for them. With the likes of groups like Fifth Harmony and Danity Kane currently on the rise, it is safe to say that these four young ladies definitely have a spot in the industry as they fill a void that has been missing in music since the 90’s. We are definitely anticipating the EP that will dub as a time machine for true R&B lovers.
The innovative 2 part project will release late summer, but in the meantime check out their modern, yet comparable rendition of the classic Xscape cover below!
