“Have you ever needed something so bad, you can’t sleep at night?” Well that’s exactly how Brandy fans are feeling after one of the music industry’s top songwriters posted the above photo to her twitter, tagging it with “Me and @4everbrandy re-united and it feels so good Bitches!” Could this actually be happening? A reunion between what created Brandy’s biggest ballad, and one of her highest charting singles to date?
Diane Warren, the forceful pen behind some of music’s biggest records including Toni Braxton‘s ‘Unbreak My Heart‘, Whitney Houston‘s ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength‘, and of course Brandy‘s ‘Have You Ever?‘, took to her twitter moments ago sharing the image. This image may be just a photo of two talented women to some, but to true music lovers and especially the #Starz, this image reminds us of an era that once took the music industry by storm.
It’s been over a decade since Norwood’s ‘Have You Ever‘ reached number 1 on the billboard charts, gaining the ‘vocal bible‘ worldwide success. The fans have pleaded that this reunion come again with the assurance that this is exactly what the R&B Belle needs to relive the musical success she once owned.
We’re not exactly sure what the two musical geniuses are up to, but if pictures are worth 1,000 words then we sure hope they are going on a piece of paper and being delivered by Brandy’s vocal chords in the studio. For what the fans are calling ‘Have You Ever 2.0‘, stay tuned to TrueExclusives as we keep you updated on the duo’s special reunion and what will come of it.
Is this what Brandy needs? What are your thoughts?
