Fresh off the Mrs.Carter tour and rumors about a summer tour with her hubby Jay Z, entertainments favorite diva, Beyoncé is showing no signs of slowing down. Why should she? According to Time Magazine, which unveiled their “100 Most Influential People of 2014” issue Yonce is the center of attention, she’s clearly winning, its her time. Beyoncé is definitely not a rookie, this is her second consecutive year on the list, but she admits nailing the cover is one of her biggest accomplishments.
“Shooting for Time Magazine was definitely one of the goals in my life. Its something important to me as an artist. Because its not about fashion or music. Its about the influence I’ve had on culture and to be amongst the other influential people its a huge honor for me.” said Beyoncé.
As if shattering music sales and iTunes records and in addition to being a fulltime mother to baby Blue wasn’t enough already this year, Queen Bey may belt pretty hurts but she can certainly check the goal of shooting with Time Magazine off her bucket list. Some may say its lonely at the top but Mrs.Carter is joined by some of her creative peers who also made the top 100.
Thanks to Time Pharrell has another reason to be happy. The 41 year old who has accomplished so much in the music and fashion industry just keeps getting more creative. His later endeavor is teaming up with Addidas for another fashion collaboration under his belt. Another reason why he made the list (the infamous Grammy hat anyone?)
Kerry Washington may play a political fixer as the controversial “Olivia Pope” on ABC’s hit TV show Scandal but in everyday life she’s embodies grace and is a pillar when it comes to igniting passion among young people.
Many may say that President Obama has had a rough year with all the political demise hearsay. Obamacare has launched and he has a lot to prove. He graces the list for his ability to grow as a leader and make the difficult decisions that folks wouldn’t dare to.
