Here’s some more Kanye news! Don’t you just love it?!
Resuming the Yeezus tour over this past weekend, Kanye West stopped by Philly’s HOT 107.9 Morning Show for the most casual interview we’ve seen him in lately, with radio hosts Shamara and Laiya.
During the three-segment chat, Shamara and Laiya allowed Ye to not only speak his mind, of course, but the interesting thing is how evident the rapper boastfully displays his character but not in any condescending manner.
When I speak, I’m not so worried about myself. I’m not really worried about if people like me when I’m done speaking. I’m more concerned [about] if they like themselves, because I like me. So, I don’t need too many [other] people [to like me]. I likeme enough for me.
The “creative genius” also went in to detail about his current tour, Al Sharpton’s boycott over his tour merchandise, President Obama, and how he is inspired by and looks up to Tyler The Creator.
Peep the footage below:
*Sidenote* I love how Kanye’s nonchalant and frank demeanor awkwardly makes the interview when he feels like he doesn’t need to entertain certain questions.
