Released at the top of the midnight morning today, Lady Gaga and Robert Kelly delivered an 80’s reminiscent love track. While the pairing may seem a bit unconventional, although we have seen Gaga collab with many urban artists like Too Short and Kendrick Lamar, it makes perfect sense on record. The much anticipated record is full of electric synths, drum machine hits, and even the cover art sheds more light on the direction of Lady Gaga’s forthcoming ARTPOP album.
In the song she sings:
I feel good, I walk alone But then I trip over myself and I fall, I I stand up, and then I’m OK But then you print some shit That makes me want to scream
So do what you want What you want with my body Do what you want Don’t stop, let’s party Do what you want What you want with my body Do what you want What you want with my body
Write what you want Say what you want bout me If you’re wondering Know that I’m not sorry Do what you want What you want with my body What you want with my body
Lady Gaga tweeted the cover art as well this morning, which shot by none other than Terry Richardson, shows off the singer’s backside in a floral print thong.
