Every season, there are contestants that immediately catch our attention, early on in these singing competitions, with not only their talent but their story as well. This year, X-Factor hopeful Asly Williams gives us all something to remind us that our deepest losses set us up for our greatest successes.
The very humble, sincere, and passionate young lady, performed Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and the singer’s soothing alto brings a new inspiration to many X-Factor watchers.
Williams’ mother passed away when she was only 14 and now she is dedicating her current chance at stardom to her late mother. Her heartfelt performance led to a teary-eyed arena standing ovation and of course a passing to the next round by each judge.
