Well, it goes without saying that an artist is truly nothing without their fans’ support, and it can also be said that a fan is nothing without the music.
Budweiser has debuted ‘Half Of Me’, a documentary short chronicling Pop star Rihanna and several of her superfans from the U.K. and the U.S. The beermaker’s venture highlights RiRi’s success but surprisingly focuses more on the core fans behind the mega star.
In the film, one fan says she loves Rihanna because she shares every bit of her personal life with the public. While another superfan says, “Rihanna wants to be Rihanna. Rihanna doesn’t want to be a role model. Rihanna doesn’t want to do things for other people, she wants to do things for herself.”
The singer later reveals:
Everything that I have acquired, everything I have accomplished – I really owe it to my fans – They mean everything to me.
Titled after the “Unapologetic” record, the short film is told from the two perspectives and shows how each person has been influenced by Rihanna and shares how #RihannaNavy empowers one another to make their dreams a reality.
