Big Sean knows when IT’S real.
Lately the Detroit native has been expressing a lot of maturity now that he has found love with girlfriend Naya Rivera. If you’ve been following Sean over the past few years, you know that he is more than open about his past and current relationships. Now that his relationship to Glee star Naya is on full blast, as they attend red carpet events together, and each have songs that were inspired by one another, Big Sean is letting everyone know that he knows what real love is.
The rapper recently sat down with Billboard to promote his forthcoming ‘Hall Of Fame’ LP and in the interview, Sean sheds light on what it’s like to have something you can’t describe:
“You know when it’s love when you can’t explain it,” he finally answered. “That’s when you know it’s love, when you got that feeling for somebody where you would do anything at anytime, damn near, and put your pride on the line… but you know that it’s so real you would hardly ever have to put your pride on the line because that person cares that much about you. You know it’s real when somebody would wake up from their sleep and make you food.”
Interestingly enough, the G.O.O.D. music artist penned a track, on his soon to be released album, titled “Ashley” which is about his long-time girlfriend, pre-stardom, whom he broke up with earlier his year. The emotional track features Miguel and shows the flip side of what Big Sean is now preaching.
