We have no words to describe the nature of this footage. Usually when celebrities, or regular people are approached by unwanted media, they refrain from violence by simply shouting “no comment” or sometimes if you’re Kanye West or Justin Beiber you may leave a threat. Not if you are 35 year old Melissa Lawrence of Providence Rhode Island. While being approached by ABC news crew to get an update on the shooting that occurred at Lawrence’s residence 2 days prior resulting in the loss of her 16 yr old daughter, Melissa immediately became enraged.

Screen-Shot-2013-06-06-at-7.21.12-AM

After throwing rocks, and grabbing a metal baseball bat, Melissa does the unthinkable and orders her two grown pitbulls to sic the helpless news reporter, and can also be heard yelling ‘Get the f-ck away from my house you white b-tch!’ This was totally uncalled for as the news reporter feared for her life, but can this be a justified retaliation of a scorned mother who is mourning the death of her child? Get into the upsetting clip below!

Legal Analyst Larry Signore said, “Using a rock; using a bat; using dogs to attack somebody. That could be significantly serious.”

ABC6 News Reporter Abbey Niezgoda was treated for dog bites; and News Photographer Mark Jackson suffered an arm injury when he was struck by a rock. The crew was trying to interview Lawrence about a shooting at her home, earlier this week that injured her daughter.
