Pop princess Rihanna has been getting a lot of negative feedback due to her recent tour date cancellations. This time the Bajan beauty has a legitimate excuse. The Brooklyn Nets are scheduled to face off with the Bulls this Saturday May 4th in game 7 of their first round play offs forcing Rih Rih to reschedule her sold out Barclay’s takeover to Tuesday May 7th. We’re sure Rih isn’t too upset about the adjustments, it gives her some extra days to ‘pour it up‘ or even enjoy a game before she hits the stage.
“I want to apologize to Rihanna’s fans for the inconvenience of having to reschedule her show at Barclays Center from Saturday, May 4 to Tuesday, May 7 due to Game 7 of the Brooklyn Nets-Chicago Bulls NBA playoffs series,” Brett Yormark, CEO of the Nets and the Barclays Center said in a statement on the arena’s website. “I want to thank Rihanna for working with us on this new date and for understanding what a Game 7 in Brooklyn means to the borough. We look forward to a special concert and I hope Rihanna will be our guest at Game 7.”
Well at least she didn’t cancel this time!
