If you’re a fan of ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ (who isn’t??) we are sure you will be tuning in to their season 2 premiere this Monday April 22. However, for those of you tuning in for K. Michelle to shake some tables and her other hilarious antics, you better enjoy it while it last. According to the Memphis bred diva she will not be returning to L&HH after this season. In addition to focusing on her album, she has now landed her own spin off on VH1.
At her recent concert at The Howard Theater in DC, she spoke on her new venture:
“God is just bringing me to a whole different place. My mouth is still bad. I drink and act a fool. But, I just don’t think that [Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta] is where I need to be. I do have my own show coming on VH1. You guys are gonna like that one a lot. You really are.”
“I’m announcing that, I won’t be on ‘Love & Hip Hop’…I just feel like when God is bringing you to the positive, it’s very hard to say ‘Thank you Jesus and f**k you b****es’,” she told fans during a D.C. concert.”
Well we are sure Mona Scott will be able to find someone equally as crazy to take K’s spot. In the meantime, we look forward to seeing her new show and get into the clip below where she discusses her departure, her forthcoming album ‘Rebellious Soul’ and even takes a subtle jab at Tamar Braxton.
