Yesterday saw the much-anticipated release of J. Cole’s debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story.
The rapper celebrated his milestone in NYC with a very special appearance on BET’s 106th and Park. Cole reflected on his long journey leading up to his debut, played a game of “In A Cole world…” and ended the show with a mini-concert, that included fan favorites such as “Who Dat”, “Can’t Get Enough”, “Work Out” and more.
The Roc Nation artist hit up Hot 97’s Angie Martinez show to talk about his release and upon leaving the studio, Cole was spotted showing love to awaiting fans. Although in a rush to get to his CD signing, he made sure to sign autographs and pose for photos. Definitely a stand up guy.
As a huge J. Cole supporter, I have to say, I’m proud as ever for this long-awaited moment. It was a long road, but it’s great to see him getting his much deserved props.
Go cop the album now!
