Last night MTV presented a special intimate Lady Gaga special titled “Lady Gaga: Inside The Outside”. The singer sat down for a very personal interview. She revealed details such as taking piano lessons from a stripper at a young age, her parents introducing her to music, her personal connection with the fans and so much more.
She even reminisces on finding inspiration from another Pop Icon: “I remember laying on my grandmother’s couch crying,” Gaga says, talking about being dropped from her first record label, Def Jam, after only three months. “And a Destiny’s Child video came on and I remember watching Beyonce and thinking, ‘Oh she’s a star. I want that.’ … And now I’m in music videos with Beyonce.”
This was a great interview that comes just 2 days after releasing her new album Born This Way. The album is expected to sell between 800,000 to 850,000 copies in its first week and dominate the Billboard music charts.
