Rapper-turned-actor Bow Wow is set to star in a new TV sitcom produced by Ice Cube and scored by his mentor Jermaine Dupri. He tells AllHipHop.com, “I partnered with Ice Cube and he is producing my sitcom. I told JD when Will had his own show, Quincy Jones did all the music so it’s only right that he does mine. So I got him doing all the scores to the TV show.” However, Bow Wow admits the series is still in its early stages of development and is currently in need of writers to create the script. He says, “Once we get that we will have a name and we will definitely be filming this year, you’ll be hearing a lot about that.”
With major roles in a few different movies and now his own TV sitcom, it seems as if Bow Wow is doing a great job of spinning his dying rap career into some serious acting.
