We got a chance to check out the MBK Entertainment Showcase in NYC the other night (thanks to my homie Ced over at letoyaonline.com) and what a showcase it was! There was an array of great new talent, from a soul-stirring gospel group (Liv’ Re) to a 12-yr-old singing sensation. Everyone held there own including the host of the evening, the beautiful LeToya Luckett. She performed a 3-song set that included her hits “Torn” and “Regret”. Newcomer Elle Varner showcased an undeniable talent, that is much needed at this time in the industry. She is a breath of fresh air and I simply cannot wait for her debut.
