TMZ is reporting that singer Jojo has filed suit against her record company. In a lawsuit filed in NYC courts, Jojo claims her record company, Da Family Entertainment, shoved her into a musical “limbo” because they won’t let her out of her contract and they won’t let her record a new album. Jojo wants a judge to force the company to let her loose, along with at least $500,000 for her troubles. I ain’t mad Jo! Ya’ gotta do, what ya’ gotta do! Right?!..Jojo took to her blog and had this to say:

“At the end of the day I hold no animosity towards my record company(s). I learned from an early age that this is a business and it is NOT personal. I love and appreciate every single person who has stuck by me and supported me through these trying times, particularly my fans. I can’t wait for the day when I can share the music that me and the album’s contributors have created. I will not rest until my goals are actualized.”
