Lisa Raye is the newest star to get her very own reality show. It will be all about her life and career and is set to air on TV One Networks in the spring of 2010. This should be kind of interesting because we’ll get to see her as she tries to resurreact her lost career along with seeing her deal with her recent divorce. I wonder if she’ll confront Rocsi and beat her ass down? LOL! Kidding…I think.

Paula Abdul revealed via her Twitter that she will not be returning to American Idol this fall. She was unable to come to a financial agreement with the show’s producers. Here’s what she said on Twitter:
“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all..Cont’d…
I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon.
What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me
It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month
I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.”
I wonder if the show will survive without her? Not to say she made A.I. but she very much played a huge part in the success, and with her nurturing the contestants and being the softy of the group definitely helped. I guess time will tell with this one. I frankly lost interest about 3 season’s ago.

Well tied up with nominations that is! The 2009 MTV Video Music Award nominations are in, with Beyonce and Lady Gaga in the lead. They have 9 nominations each! Britney Spears recieved the 2nd most nominations with 7. Kanye and Coldplay trail behind with 4 nominations each. Although I’m not too keen on Beyonce, I definitely think she deserved her nods, as well did Gaga. Now, Britney, I don’t get at all. Her music this time was very mediocre to me. Seems like MTV is just kissing ass. For what? I have no clue. Nonetheless the awards will be shown live on Sunday, September 13th at 9 P.M. ET/PT on MTV. Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift are already confirmed as performers. Russell Brand will host the show, once again this year. but wasn’t he horrible last year? SMH!
