Yesterday, singer & humanitarian Michael Jackson was memorialized in what was (and will probably be) one of the most moving, touching, loving and heartfelt tributes known to mankind. The event was very well put together and was an excellent way to say goodbye to the fallen superstar. Everybody from Mariah Carey to Usher to a pregnant Jennifer Hudson appeared on the show to give their love and support.  The most touching part of the ceremony was when Michael’s daughter, Paris Katherine, took to the microphone to declare her love for her father and breaking down. Shocking but bittersweet to say the least. I actually thought the oldest son would speak, but Paris appeared to be the strongest one out of her siblings. Guests who weren’t shown on TV included Lil’ Kim, P. Diddy, Nicky Hilton, Cicely Tyson, Lisa Raye and more. Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz performed “I’ll Be There” At first I thought she didn’t sound up to par but I guess due to the circumstances she was trying to keep her composure (or so that’s what it appeared to be)…

Kris Jenner and the Kardasian sisters came to remember Michael. The sisters used to go to Neverland Ranch every summer as kids…

Usher performed “Gone Too Soon” and cried towards the end of the song after he touched and sang to Michael’s casket…

Longtime friend of Michael, Corey Feldman showed up in an MJ inspired outfit. Some people were questioning his attire b saying it was disrespectful, but I disagree. This man was a very, VERY close friend to Michael, so what’s wrong with tributing him through an outfit?…

Jennifer Hudson sang “Will You Be There” pregnant belly and all, she sang this song! Although I did feel like her voice was too strong for this song.

The Jackson sisters; Janet, Latoya and Rebbie head to their seats at the Staples center…

Jermaine Jackson performed a touching tribute of “Smile” for his brother Michael. The fact that he even managed to get through this song is amazing in itself. Beautiful.

Alot of people sometimes are annoyed by Al Sharpton (at times I am too) but this man gave such a rousing speech in tribute to Mj that I had to post it…THANK YA! MICHAEL, THANK YA! THANK YA! Amen mister Sharpton!!

Another great speech was that of Brooke Shields. She was a great friend of Mike’s who at one time even dated him. She was overcome with emotion remembering their special moments. Her speech gave us insight as to how normal their relationship was, not to mention how real it was. Very touching to say the least.

Michael is survived by his three children, as seen in this photo.

The closing of the show saw what is believed to be Michael’s background singers singing lead vocals on “We Are The World” along with his brothers, sisters, children and friends.
