It has been confirmed that actress Natasha Richardson died from a blunt impact to her head, while on a skiing trip. The impact caused internal bleeding, which ultimately killed her. Her death was ruled an accident after an autopsy was performed. It has also been reported that EMT workers were turned away before they reached Richardson. She was seen laughing and joking after the incident. It eventually took a turn for the worse. Most of you may know Natasha as Jennifer Lopez co star in “Maid In Manhatten”. She also starred in “The Parent Trap” with Lindsay Lohan.
Her husband Liam Neeson has issued a press release, saying: “Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
In light of this tragedy, there’s a lesson- head injuries should not be taken lighty. You may think you are fine on the outside, but the inside may be a different story. Please get checked out, professionally, anytime you hit, bang or hurt your head.
